Rick Ross denied the opportunity to perform at Detroit's Summer Jamz
Rick Ross was set to headline and perform at Detroit's annual SummerJamz concert June 21st, 2014. Upon his arrival he was stopped by a group of some 100 - 150 men lead by Detroit rapper Trick Trick picketing and denying his entry into Detroit's Chene park. Refusing to exit his bus Ross finally decided instead of stepping into harms way that it would be best to just leave the area. It was said the Superstar "Feared for his life".
It appears the infamous "No Fly Zone" for artists who don't "show love" to Detroit and its artist is still in effect. Ross had this to ad via twitter:
